These past two years have been an incredible & enjoyable learning experience for me. I attended numerous courses conducted by Ms Cheong Lai Siong on her “Tell your Story with E-scrapbooking” series.
Lai Siong is a creative and innovative teacher and I became very interested to learn new skills using graphic design tools and video editing tools. She ignited my love to create music videos and my digital memoir. She’s a real inspiration.
Lai Siong is very patient & always willing to help solve many of the problems & challenges that I encountered. She also organized field trips for us. Our Homework Project was to create our videos after each Field trip. Sharing the videos with course mates was a huge encouragement for us to continue to learn & express our unique perspectives in our approach to telling our stories with music videos.

My Music Video Learning Journey
I am fortunate to have met Ms Melody Cheong Lai Siong who introduced to me, through a few courses conducted by her, the skills of making music video and I am very satisfied and happy with the results. From these courses I have learnt the methods of enhancing, with some interesting and relevant images and video, any recorded music I pick or even the recording my own singing, to show on computers and smart phones and share with friends on social media. It would not be possible without the dedicated coaching of Ms Cheong. Ms Cheong is a very patient and encouraging instructor who started guiding me from beginner level and slowly introduced stage by stage more techniques to enhance my music video. Some of the methods are not straight forward and very often I may forget their steps and correct order to activate them but Ms Cheong still patiently repeated the instruction and demonstrate the methods to me. Ms Cheong is a music lover herself and she also sings. This is a common interest between us and it helps make the learning process very enjoyable and fruitful as we can discuss like friends about my woks during the process. I wish to sincerely thank Ms Cheong for her excellent attitude in coaching me in the music video making.
