This is the first part of the two-part series workshop. Tell Your Story with Electronic Scrapbook (Basic) delivers the following course objectives:

• Create an electronic scrapbook using pictures on mobile phones that will be turned into a slideshow with the help of the instructors.
• Understand the concept of building blocks, storyboard, and copyright.
• Apply skills learned in a personal class project.

Course Outline

Session 1: 

• Introduction to mobile photography.
• Introduction to Electronic Scrapbook fundamentals.
• Introduction to rich media organisation with the latest technology trend.

 

Session 2:

• Introduction to mobile app for collage creation.
• Understanding line, colour and design for artistic collage creation.

Session 3:

• Introduction to Story-telling elements, storyboard and building blocks of slideshow.
• Introduction to mobile app for video slideshow creation.

Session 4: 

• Video slideshow creation, social media sharing and class presentation.

 

Learning Outcome

• Take the opportunity to create special moments in creating an electronic scrapbook with pictures on mobile phones that will be turned into a slideshow with the help of the instructors.
• Understand the concept of theme, planning and design layout.
• Understand the basic concepts of mobile photography, photos organisation and collage-making as essential elements of electronic scrapbook creation.
